Good crewneck sweaters make life simple in the autumn months and once you have some basic colors (black, grey, cream)  a good print like a polka dot, stripe or stars like this Chinti and Parker. make your look a bit more fun. Equipment, Uniqlo and Chinti and Parker are some of my go-to’s for simple, effortless cashmere crew necks. If you want a cheaper option you can find nice merino wool ones on J. Crew, and even lower priced ones in a blended fabric on Topshop and ASOS.

To complete the look, a plaid shawl like this one from Douce Gloire is a piece you can wear daily over any outfit. No wonder Burberry is known to be selling out of all their shawls this season (get yours here). These structured leggings are AG Adriano Goldschmied and so comfortable and easy to wear. While you would never find me in Isabel Marant wedged velcro sneakers, I own these Isabel Marant suede Bobby’s in every color, this shade being my particular favourite.

The J.Crew earrings were a summer purchase. Some how J.Crew accessories never fail and neither do Thierry Lasry sunglasses, I own 5 pairs.
