Whether its for a lazy Sunday or a busy Monday, sometimes all you need is a good sweatshirt and jeans.
LNA Clothing makes casual cool basics better than anyone else. Beginning with the idea of creating the perfect mens inspired t-shirt for women, Lauren Alexander and April Leight have created a brand filled with well made jersey staples that embody California cool.
Classic, young and stylish their t-shirts are my current go-to’s for outfits that say everything from ‘cool Mom on the run’ to ‘what kids? I don’t look a day over 30’ haha.
Destroyed denim and a well worn tee are the unofficial uniform of Southern California so it made perfect sense to pair my LNA sweatshirt with these Mother jeans. Mother denim knows how to make a women look great in a denim, their jeans are super-soft but because they are cut so well they never look sloppy.
Luckily for us jersey is in the midst of a revival, so pulling on a sweatshirt and jeans is now as cool as it is comfortable. We owe this in part to Vetements, their reconstructed Champion sweatshirt is the latest street style staple and ‘it’ fashionista favourite. They have transformed the cotton-blend jersey sweatshirt from activewear to streetwear and this trend is one that I fully intend to embrace.
