What i wore: Courchevel

Every midterm the kids get one week off school and during the February break a lot of families pack up and head for the Alps. I had never skied in Europe before, I learned on hills in Wisconsin at the age of 10 and every year as a family we’d take one trip to the Rockies in Colorado to the likes of Vail, Aspen, or Steamboat. Courchevel was at the top of my list and we couldn’t have asked for a more magical week of sun, snow and ski.

While I love clothes, I hate packing! When I’m headed off somewhere warm I have the saving grace of lots of suitcase space. I can can throw everything I need and more because the light summer pieces take up so little space! Packing for a ski trip is a tad more tedious. I can promise you there is no better workout than trying to zip up a suitcase that is filled to the brim with chunky knit sweaters and snow gear.

Storm Dorris dusted snow all across the UK and so for many the urge to jet off for a skiing adventure has become stronger than ever. I’m here to give you a peek inside my suitcase in hopes of making packing for your own skiing adventure a little bit easier.
