In my closet, a band blazer is almost just as an important as a black tuxedo jacket or an off white blazer. I love feeling strong and confident in my looks and it’s the perfect staple for throwing over an outfit to add that extra something. I recently discovered the cutting-edge designer, Nadya Shah, who loves to play with fabrics and textures to make the most amazing statement pieces. A graduate of the legendary Central St. Martins, she’s studied under Alexander McQueen, John Galliano and Giles Deacon… just to name a few. Her style is unlike traditional designers, but that unconventional beauty is exactly what I love about her collection. I’ve also found some other high priced jackets to splurge on here and here, but if you’re looking for a steal, try this ASOS style.
I’ve been looking forever for a good fringe bag for festivals that was roomie enough for a phone, mophie, sunscreen, sunglasses, keys, wallet… the list goes on and on. This Thale Blanc has not only become my ultimate festival bag, but I’ve literally been wearing it around as my daily bag. Safe to say, not a bad two for one deal.
