I found this SS13 Calla outfit at Harvey Nichols here in London, I had never heard of the brand before and it ended up being one of my favorite day outfits I wore on “Ladies of London.”
The top and skirt were part of the same season but shown separately in the collection, I loved mixing the two pieces together. I paired a super lightweight sweatshirt (a Juliet absolute essential!!) with a light wool red-flounce skirt and mixed it with my coveted Isabel Marant Milwaukee studded boot and black Hermes Kelly bag (save your dollars for this investment handbag). The simple Elizabeth and James gold stud elephant earring made the outfit feel just the right amount of sweet plus sass.
To get a similar look, you could wear a floral skirt (I love this scuba one from JCrew) with a a plain gray sweatshirt, like this one from Topshop or this one from Rag & Bone. OMG, this look would look so cute with converse or a heel – I’ve just decided I need both pieces while I am writing this!
