Heading out to the English countryside for a weekend at Mapperton Manor, florals and lace were on my list to pack. Our first day called for a tour of the luscious gardens, shooting (my first time ever!!), croquet, and tea time, so I definitely needed a dress that would take me get me comfortably and appropriately through the day. I chose this Erdem navy floral-print silk crepe de Chine belted shirtdress which was perfect for the entire day’s activities.

The Alessandra Rich dress I wore reminded me of something a modern day Lady Mary Crawley would wear and I absolutely loved wearing it. Lace seemed like the right choice for dinner at the manor and the high collar of the dress appropriate for a house dating back to the Tudor period. King Henry VIII would be proud.
