With Memorial Day officially upon us, that tried-and-true—and quite a bit old-fashioned, if you ask me—rule about not being able to wear white has finally lifted. In celebration, I’m in a monochrome, all-white look.
There’s something about an all-white ensemble that keeps things simple, yet effortlessly chic. The crisp head-to-toe look feels highly appropriate for summer. It’s light, it’s clean, and it reminds me of preppy weekend getaways past. Whether you’re headed for the beach or the city streets this summer head to toe white is a great way to go. This sweater is by Belstaff, it cut is very classic but with varying textures and details around the shoulders, arms, and torso its execution is very modern. I paired it with white denim and my new favorite heels by Francesco Russo (which I have been wearing with everything lately, I highly recommend them for any, and every closet!)
An all white ensemble is the perfect blank canvas for some great accessories and so I took full advantage with my bag. This mini saddle bag is the Hudson by Chloe (two left on sale here), and with it’s buttery brown suede and seventies-inspired detailing its quickly becoming my favourite, I can’t wait to carry it all summer. Statement earrings, a printed scarf – however you dress it up (or down) monochrome is a fantastically fashionable way to welcome the warm weather.
