Back To School Shopping With Gigi

Gigi has been wearing a uniform for the past seven years and this year she would be heading to a new school with no uniform. Cue – my first time actually Back To School shopping!  We spent the summer in Chicago and decided Nordstrom would the best place to find clothes that were both cool and easy to mix and match into outfits to start the year off. We bought neutral colored basics to mix in with the bright colorful pieces she already owned in her wardrobe.  I was curating a good everyday wardrobe for autumn and winter larger than I had ever done for Gigi before.

Gigi and I spent a lot of time ordering online and going in store to find the most comfortable pieces, especially jeans (she’s never liked wearing jeans before). We also found a super inexpensive site Shein, which I thought because of the prices, the quality of the clothes would be terrible, which was not the case at all. A little red romper and yellow floral summer dress, which she wore on her orientation day are perfect for mixing into her new Back To School wardrobe.   We hope you like our first edition of The London Stylist: Mini Edition and find pieces that work well for your little girls too!
