Paris’ Photogenic Spots

Paris is one of those rare destinations that has a photo op on just about every corner. If you find yourself in the city of lights looking for the most photogenic locations, be sure to add these 10 places to your “to-gram” list.

1. Eiffel Tower

Every trip to Paris requires a photo of the Eiffel tower but for a beautiful up close view, frequented by influencers, have your uber or taxi take you to this address:

223 Rue de l’université

75007 Paris, France

2. Eiffel Tower Perch

Another classic view of the Eiffel Tower can be found from atop the steps. To avoid tourists in the background, head to the walkway just off Quai Branly street, and follow the staircases down until you see the sloped ledges!

Avenue Anatole France

3. The Louvre

While the Louvre is one of Paris’ best museums, it’s also one of Paris’ greatest photo ops. Because it’s a popular tourist destination, you’ll have to be patient and wait for people to move. But the architecture matched with the Parisian sky is definitely worth a snap.

8 Place du Carrousel

75001 Paris, France

4. Cafe de Flore / Cafe Bonaparte

If you’ve tagged any Paris inspo on Instagram, you’ve probably seen a photo of the classic green and white scenery of Cafe de Flore. It’s ideal for a Parisian cafe photo with a croissant and coffee. Or Cafe Bonaparte just steps down the street has a color palette of red, white, and blue — just as equally as Parisian and charming.

Cafe De Flore

172 Boulevard Saint-Germain

75006 Paris, France

Cafe Bonaparte

42 Rue Bonaparte

5. Jardin du Palais Royal

This is truly one of Paris’ most photogenic spots. The grand architecture matched with the black and white striped columns lends itself to some pretty stunning shots.

Colonnes De Buren

4 Rue de Valois

75001 Paris, France

6. La Maison Rose in Monmarte

This pink and green backdrop is a must for anyone wanting to snap a scenic shot in Paris. The neighborhood area is serene and peaceful, plus there are several adorable cafes to enjoy just up the road in the Monmarte area.

2 Rue de l’Abreuvoir

75018 Paris, France

7. Street Stands Near the Lock Bridge

Paris’ famous lock bridge used to be a prime photo op, but now that the city has removed most of the locks, head down Quai de Conti and snap a photo with some uniquely Parisian prints instead. I ended up buying two Chanel prints for Gigi — a great souvenir to snag while you’re in the area.

Quai de Conti

75006 Paris, France

8. Arc de Triumphe

Head to the Arc de Triumph for a photo op after a day of shopping along the Champs- Élysées or a yummy lunch at L’ Avenue. After the Eiffel Tower, it’s one of Paris’ most famous monuments, connecting twelve avenues in a grand roundabout.

Place Charles de Gaulle

75008 Paris, France

9. Carousel

In addition to incredible fashion, unbeatable croissants, and the cutest cafes, Paris also has an abundance of carousels. Head to the Carrouse de la Tour Eiffel for a fun, whimsical, Paris pic with additional views of the Eiffel Tower.

Quai Branly

10. Pont Alexandre III Bridge

For something a bit grander, reminiscent of the ornate Franco-Russian era, pose along the Seine at the stunning Pont Alexandre III bridge. You’ll get stunning views of the river met with glimpses of Parisian’s romantic skyline.
