They say making a Swiss watch is a labor of love, but then there’s Alex Benlo that literally uses the earth’s finest ingredients to create a timeless piece like none other. Since 2014, the Loth family have been creating unique watches that uphold both an elegant design and deeper meaning. I’ve always believed in the healing powers of stones, rocks and crystals, which lies deep within the brand’s ethos, of creating a world where nature takes centre stage. With six classic stones to choose from, all rich in meaning and energy, I was drawn to the positive aura and strength from the Jade collection. Jade has been used for centuries in Asian culture to symbolise courage and wisdom, two values I hope to pass down to my children so naturally I knew this was the winner. Using an extremely rare, high-quality Jade, this timepiece exudes luxury but also the finest Swiss craftsmanship.
Bermuda was no doubt the perfect place to debut my Alex Benlo watch. With the serene beaches, local island vibes and gorgeous landscapes, I instantly felt a sense of calm and positivity right off the plane. The soft leather band made it easy to wear throughout the journey and matched perfectly with my island wardrobe. We’re already planning our next trip with the kids and I know the first item that will be on the packing list – my jade timepiece from Alex Benlo.
