This morning I asked my husband, ‘What’s the weather like today?’. He replied, ‘it’s medium.’ When you live in London, you know exactly what ‘medium weather’ means in May and June. They are not hot summer days and not cold brisk winter days, so they are perfect days to wear the ‘medium weather sweater’.
Its no secret that I love fringe and that I am more often in an oversized top than a form fitting one. This 3.1 Phillip Lim sweater I bought in a size XS even thought I always wear a small. It is quite roomy and made of soft chenille woven mix making it softer and lighter than it looks. It is perfect for an evening on the beach or seaside barbecue.
I paired the look with other ‘medium weather’ staples, silver brogues and frayed ankle jeans. Mine are from Zara, but this season’s standouts have been the Stella McCartney Britt Platform Oxford. And, I accessorized with one of my favorite sunglass brands, Thierry Lasry and my current go-to everyday Chanel clutch.
